The Cisco®
CCNA®
certification is the networking industry's most respected hands-on
certification.
The MicroNET CCNA®
workshop incorporates content from two separate Cisco courses
(Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 and Interconnecting
Cisco Networking Devices Part 2) over an eight day period. The course is
split into two four day sessions and is delivered over two weeks.
Depending on the delegates background and
experience, they can attend the entire eight day workshop or any four
day session.
The
Cisco®
CCNA®
network associate certification validates the ability to install,
configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched
networks, including implementation and verification of connections to
remote sites in a WAN. This new curriculum includes basic mitigation of
security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and
terminology, and performance-based skills. This new curriculum also
includes (but is not limited to) the use of these protocols:
IP,
Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line
Interface Protocol Frame Relay, Routing Information Protocol Version 2
(RIPv2),VLANs, Ethernet, access control lists (ACLs).
The
CCNA®
Certification is the mandatory base certification required for other
Cisco Certifications. It is valid for three years.
The certification can be completed by taking
two separate VUE exams or a combination test that covers content from
both courses.
This workshop prepares
candidates for exam
640-802 and covers content from:
Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1
(ICND1) v1.0
Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2
(ICND2) v1.0
